Bologna in lockdown for Covid-19

Bologna (Italy), March 13th 2020.

In an unusually empty Piazza Maggiore (the city's main square) an encounter between a man and a woman is held keeping a safety distance. Only pigeons surrounds them and the woman wears a medical mask.

Following the outbreak of Covid-19 in Italy, a nationwide lockdown was declared on Mar 9th 2020 and gradually lifted between May 4th and Jun 15th.
